Nasty Scabs - Confrontation Scavvies

After several months of painting Bob Olley figures, I wanted a bit of a break, so decided to get back on with the Confrontation scavvies. I've now just got the Citadel figures to do. These were sculpted by Jes Goodwin, with three seeing general release and a further seven being unreleased.

First up are the three released sculpted. These were available as armless metal torsos that you could complete with either the ganger or Imperial Guard plastic arms and weapons. I decided to use some more modern arms and sculpt ragged sleeves over the top to integrate them:

The shotgun is sourced from a Preacher from a 40k Kill Team set, whereas the autogun is from Necromunda. The long rifle is from a Stargrave kit, but I think they all look great in the hands of scavvies!

I kept the same colour scheme as I'd used on the earlier Marauder scavvies so I can use them all together if I need to. I really like pairing the dull dusty brown with colour pops and patterns.

The scavvy with the long rifle is my favourite - I've always loved the pose and that sinister rebreather mask.

Now I've got these out of the way, I can start to think about tackling the unreleased figures and bulking out the gang with some conversions. Looking forward to working on some more!
