Bits & Pieces - Servitor Bodyguard & Warning Sign

I have a few hobby tasks I needed to complete prior to Bring Out Your Lead 2025 between 8-10 August. Mostly these are bits I want to use in a planned game of Stargrave, which should see my Muller cultists take on some mutie scum. I'm working my way through the to-do list: first up is a figure kindly given to me by Aidan of Warfactory Miniatures at Lead & Steel earlier this year.

The figure (a 3D print of Aidan's digital sculpt) is a beautifully baroque female with cybernetic enhancements. I decided that it would work best as a servitor-bodyguard for an imperial governor, so painted to match my Colony 87 nobles.

The figure has some really nice details - I love the blank face mask (I tried for a pearly finish) and those delicate implanted power blades.

A nice figure that may also see future use in a flamboyant inquisitor's retinue!

Next up is purely a bit of set dressing for my BOYL Stargrave game:

The locals don't like outsiders, especially weird-looking ones.

The sign is a simple construction made from square plastic tube, plastic sheet and thin card:

A quick paint job with plenty of rust and grime was all that was needed:

Next tasks are to paint up a couple of new figures for the Muller cult, which I should be tackling within the next week.

    1. Thanks Brauwan! A coat of gloss varnish does wonders on those 😉

  2. That servitor is a lovely sculpt and perfect for the bodyguard job of some high ranking noblefamily. Could also be a death cult assassin too if one were wanting to get away from the traditional S&M look.

    1. Totally agree - it's a lovely, elegant sculpt. Would be great as an alternate death cult assassin.
