Even Scummier Scum - More Confrontation Scavvies

After painting up two of the four Marauder scavvies last time out, it made sense to paint up the remaining pair (as a side note, this means I have now painted all 20 Confrontation miniatures produced by Marauder - showcase to come in the near future!).

Like the previous pair of Marauder scavvies, these are gloriously chunky Aly Morrison sculpts that you very rarely see painted up. I never knew that the goofy guy with the laspistol had a bionic leg for example. They are covered in fun details that reveal themselves as you paint them. My favourite elements are the flying wings on the shoulders of the chainsword-wielder's jacket. Clearly he's been raiding a military surplus store!

The only tweak to the colour scheme here was to paint the jackets in a brighter light brown (karak stone rather than baneblade brown). This was purely because I ran out of baneblade brown, but I actually prefer the greater contrast to the colour scheme.

All in all, I'm very please with how the four figures turned out. So much so, that I've converted a few other Aly & Trish figures so I can use a full 'Marauder' style scavvy gang. More on those in a future post! For now, you'll just have to make do with these four:
