I had fun adding the Danger Gals icon onto the shipping container with my Posca paint markers. |
I used the same painting techniques as the main gang - largely contrast paints over drybrushed undercoats. Rather than worrying about all the details, I just focused on the overall look and important bits (like the ears and glasses!).
The used spray can on the ground was made from scraps of plastic rod and strip. |
I've been pretty pleased with the time / results ratio on these figures. I think focusing on the key details and some nice base detailing really elevates what is actually a pretty basic and functional paint job. They look pretty nice as a gang on mass:
Looking forward to getting them on the table this weekend. I'll try and remember to take some photos of them in action!
Again I think these are looking very good, and the slightly more "realistic" and low-key painting works well for me. They're clearly a team but there's a nice amount of variation. I particularly like spray can lady. The gang is coming on well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Toby, glad you like them! I'm a suckered for a spray can model too - they're fun to pose against some tags.
DeleteThose look great! Love the scenery you posed them with, too...
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike!
DeleteI do love where this is going. The spray can is a really nice touch. :)
