Cyberpunk Combat Zone - Danger Gals Gonks

As I understand it, gonks are low-quality fodder which can be used to bulk out your Cyberpunk gangs. In my head, these are broadly equivalent to Necromunda juves. Monster Fight Club produce a pack of three themed gonks that can be used as part of a Danger Gals gang - all three have the mandatory cat-ear headbands and a healthy slice of attitude!

I had fun adding the Danger Gals icon onto the shipping container with my Posca paint markers.
I used the same painting techniques as the main gang - largely contrast paints over drybrushed undercoats. Rather than worrying about all the details, I just focused on the overall look and important bits (like the ears and glasses!).

The used spray can on the ground was made from scraps of plastic rod and strip.

I've been pretty pleased with the time / results ratio on these figures. I think focusing on the key details and some nice base detailing really elevates what is actually a pretty basic and functional paint job. They look pretty nice as a gang on mass:

Looking forward to getting them on the table this weekend. I'll try and remember to take some photos of them in action!

  1. Again I think these are looking very good, and the slightly more "realistic" and low-key painting works well for me. They're clearly a team but there's a nice amount of variation. I particularly like spray can lady. The gang is coming on well!

    1. Thanks Toby, glad you like them! I'm a suckered for a spray can model too - they're fun to pose against some tags.
