I'll preface this post by saying that I have no plans to make 4-LOM. I'm drawing a blank on suitable base models sculpted by Bob Olley, so Zuckuss here will be my last bounty hunter! On the flip side, I'm very pleased with Zuckuss, given that a few weeks ago I was struggling to work out how I'd make him!

I converted Zuckuss from the Iron Claw space priate Verrington Khosht. I added a new long coat and rebreather / helmet over the top of the original head:

Zuckuss has a pretty low-key colour scheme with just a couple of shades of brown! I tried to liven it up by stippling the highlights and add some more texture.
I've got one final group of Olley Empire figures to post before the end of the year, then I'm looking forward to tackling more of the rebels in early 2026.

Great conversion work, he looks ace.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The conversion work was pretty straightforward - just successive placement of balls & sausages of putty, with a bit of blending!
DeleteBravo Axiom! Well done. That's a very nice conversion, and it's especially nice to have a couple of those to work with.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like him! I often end up with duplicates of figures - it's nice to find uses for them either in squads, or for converting.
DeleteOh, I absolutely agree. Just impressed you had a duplicate of an Olley space pirate. :) That's a lovely figure to begin with, but your conversion is the bees knees.
DeleteThese are awesome! You do an amazing job with your colors!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them!
DeleteBrilliant - great sculpting work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kym!
