The first of the two newly painted figures is armed with a hand flamer. He also has an apron - a feature he shares with several of the Roy Eastland tech gangers.
The fourth and final Marauder tech has a funky power fist / servo arm and a half-bionic head.
All four are really fun sculpts. I like the fact that they feel more exotic than the more no-nonsense feel you get from the techs by the other sculptors - perfect for specialists or characters. Nice to have got this set completed!

Not familiar with these sculpts, and that's a loss on my part I feel. Good additions to the collection though.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dai! I don't think they were widely released unfortunately. You can check out the full (small) Marauder Confrontation range on Stuff of Legends: http://www.solegends.com/citconfrontation/index.htm#Iconmarpsychers
DeleteI remember quite a few of the confrontation figs but, like Dai, not these ones.
DeleteThey are really charming, I'm discovering quite a bunch of good minis with this project!
ReplyDeleteAly Morrison definitely knows how to sculpt with character! Thanks Suber 🙂
DeleteAwesome stuff!
ReplyDeleteThe Nexus Cyclo miniatures from the old Kryomek game were sculpted by Roy too and you may find some conversion fodder from the range as the bionic CYCLO unit that is fitted to their heads to control them gives them a wee bit of a techy vibe too.
These are great, I've not seen the Marauder Tech gang before. I've still got some Cyclos as I liked the sculpts, they're still available from here I think: https://www.shop.scotiagrendel.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=217_218_3_112_116
DeleteI just picked up another batch of Kryomek minis. Not the CYCLO units but I did get some cyborgs that are really interesting.
DeleteCool stuff! Great to know. There's a chunk of the Kryomek range also available through MSD Games in the US.
DeleteThat's awesome! Thanks. I've been getting them from ebay so far.
DeleteNice work.
ReplyDeleteThanks 😊
DeleteGreat stuff - such a cool group of figures. Good job.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kym!
DeleteI love how you keep filling out these gangs years after you first created them. Even if they aren't mine, I still enjoy seeing collections become more complete.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hobbs! It's great to hear you enjoy it. I'm not sure any project is ever finished and it's fun filling in gaps where I can.
