"It'll be like the old times. They'll never stop us." - Olley x Biggs Darklighter & Prune Face

Back to some incidental Star Wars characters and painting up Bob Olley sculpts where they just seem to fit! Here are Biggs Darklighter (deleted Tosche Station scene) and Orrimaarko AKA Prune Face.

Painting up Biggs gave me a good excuse to have some fun with scene recreation:

Close enough I reckon!

Both figures are once again Bob Olley sculpts. Biggs is the wonderfully moustachioed Nixan from the Iron Claw space pirates range. Prune Face is one of the Kryomek alien bar patrons (currently available from MSD Games).

You can't convince me that Bob's sculpt wasn't based on Prune Face:

Both figures are painted to try and match their on-screen costumes. Clearly Biggs isn't helmeted in his Tosche Station outfit, but I did add a few markings to call back to his x-wing pilot lid.

Prune Face was apparently involved in the raid on Endor, so he gets some nice green and brown clothes that match the other rebel commandos I've previously painted.

Fun to paint up a couple of niche characters and continue building out the project.

  1. How did I miss the fact that Biggs is a Darklighter? They sound like a cadet branch of the Skywalker clan. Also: holy god George, really? Work on your names. I love your stuff, but it's a really good thing when you have an editor.

Anyway, brilliant as always Axoim! Well done. Yes, that Pruneface really does look a lot like Pruneface. You're probably onto something there. :-)

    1. Yeah, George Lucas definitely went for names that a 10-year old might invent! I guess most of them are quite obvious descriptions of the characters too.

      Glad you like these 🙂
