This is Not the Droid You Are Looking For - Olley Rebels (Again!)

I 've really been enjoying painting my Bob Olley space pirates as not-Star Wars figures. I reckon every Star Wars group needs droids and aliens, so leant into it with the most recent group.

All three are Iron Claw space pirates yet again, painted as rebel commandos:

The 'droid' is listed as Nightwing in the Iron Claw catalogue pictures. It's not really clear whether he's a robot, cyborg or simply a guy with a bionic arm and cool helmet. Nonetheless,the domed head was just asking for some derivative markings!

Next up is Banzai Jones. A pretty ordinary-looking trooper amongst all his more exotic companions. I like the fleece-lined collar and funky helmet. I painted the helmet marking to have passing remblance to the rebel symbol, although it does also look like he has a Blue Peter badge!

Finally it's Ooglorg the Cruel with his nasty face and daemonic horns. I painted him to look like he was a Devaronian with a nice pinky-red colour.
